September 2022 | In conversation with Kate Galvin and Wendy Norris

We were incredibly lucky to have had the support of Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) in hosting our September event with Kate Galvin and Wendy Norris. In addition, the lunchtime event was made possible through the commitment and coordination of Johanna Neilsen and Shali Lingaretnam.

It took us more than three years from the initial idea generation to hosting the event but the wait was worth it. Kate and Wendy were a great team representing leaders who have excelled in their careers, inspire others to be authentic in who they are and have a passion for the deployment of capital in a meaningful way.

The topics focused on viewing one's career as a personal development journey, the importance of a growth mindset and finding joy in work. What stood out from the event was Kate and Wendy's desire to impart their wisdom to support other women and emphasising the importance of authenticity.

We appreciate the time and consideration invested into the event and thank Kate, Wendy, Johanna, Shali and VFMC for their generosity of spirit and resources in making the event a success.
