Women in Investments collaborated with Women in ETFs APAC (Melbourne Chapter) to host our first joint event at S&P Global's office. It was an incredible opportunity to engage with Mona Naqvi, S&P’s Global Head of ESG Capital Markets Strategy. In a conversation moderated by Julie Ballard, Mona shared her views on engaging ESG in more meaningful ways and some of the enlightening insights from recent meetings with global sustainability leaders at S&P Global’s Sustainable 1 Investor Client Council in the UK and Climate Week NYC.She relayed her remarkable journey from politics to becoming a global advocate for responsible investing, highlighting the importance of passion and purpose in driving change. Mona’s perspective on fostering genuine engagement in ESG initiatives resonated deeply, emphasizing the need for collaboration and transparency in our efforts.
