We held our first event for the year through the endorsement of Thakshi Wijesundara at Northern Trust Asset Managment. The event was held in a private room at the Garden State Hotel and it was the perfect venue to catchup with old friends as well as meet new people after what feels like life being on stop/start for almost two years. The theme of "In celebration of every woman" was aligned with International Woman's Day but more importantly represents the core mission of Women in Investments, which is to uplift and empower the women within the investment management industry. Our events are usually at capacity with a wait list and we are grateful to our sponsors to be able to host such high quality events and grateful to our guests who have watched us evolve and grow over the years. It also needs to be noted that we appreciate the senior men in the industry who came to support us, and Women In Investments encourage people of all genders to attend our events.
