What we have witnessed over the last few years is the importance of women seeing examples of other women who have climbed the corporate path and managed to balance both positions of power within the workplace and at home.
Our event in September was generously hosted by Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) at the Hotel Windsor where Kate Galvin and Katie Hudson, who have been friends for many years, were able to share candid insights on their careers and advice for the current generation of women to find their version of success in their careers.
The event was attended by more than 100 women and we couldn't have asked for a better audience, sponsor or speakers on the theme of recognising that no career is linear, the importance of taking up offers of help from others and the measurable difference that diversity contributes to a better workplace.
Thank you to Johanna Neilsen and Hayley Goodman for making this event possible.
